Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups flour (same as we use for baking)
  • 12 cup semolina
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 14 cup milk
  • 1 12 cups sugar (finely grounded)
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornflour (dissolved in 1 cup water)
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)

Method

  • Sieve fine flour & semonila.
  • add castor sugar, oil and milk time to time to form a hard dough.
  • you might need more or lesser then 1/4 cup of milk.
  • keep dough a side for 30 minutes.
  • roll the dough around 1/4" thick cut it in your desired shape.
  • dip it in corn flour mixture and deep fry on moderate hot oil untill golden brown.
  • take care that oil should not become too hot in any time, it will darken the cookies.
  • store in air tight container or serve by sprinkling castor sugar.
