Ingredients
- 2 c. rhubarb, chopped
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1/4 c. Heath chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Method
- Mix sugar and flour together.
- Beat egg yolks.
- Add milk; add to sugar and flour mixture.
- Mix well.
- Add cut rhubarb.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake in a 425° oven until rhubarb is tender and filling is set.
- Beat egg whites.
- Add the brown sugar. Pour over pie; bake until brown.
