  • 2/3 cup grits
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  • Melt the margarine add water salt heat to almost boiling
  • Add your grits stir in well heat till the grits do their legendary pop then stir well turn down heat add cheese and you may need to add additional water up to half a cup but don't make too thin this is due to the brand of grits you use if more water is needed
  • Or how wet or dry you like your grits
  • Take your eggs crack into a bowl check for spots por into bowl once you have checked them for spotting beat the eggs
  • Heat margarine in a wok when melted add eggs stirfry till done make sure you ge no brown or color other then yellow or white
  • Add to a bowl add cheese to top cover with a plate 5 minutes uncover portion out and enjoy
