Ingredients
- 1 cup Almonds
- 2 cups Water
Method
- Combine almonds with water in a food processor and blend on high speed for 56 minutes.
- Pour through strainer or squeeze through a cheese cloth (optional).
- Refrigerate in wide-mouth glass jar.
- Note: Soaking almonds in lukewarm water for several hours prior to blending may help soften them, making it easier to obtain a finer, less gritty texture.
- Water used in soaking can then be used as the 2 cups of water needed for blending.
