Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 2 cups Water

Method

  • Combine almonds with water in a food processor and blend on high speed for 56 minutes.
  • Pour through strainer or squeeze through a cheese cloth (optional).
  • Refrigerate in wide-mouth glass jar.
  • Note: Soaking almonds in lukewarm water for several hours prior to blending may help soften them, making it easier to obtain a finer, less gritty texture.
  • Water used in soaking can then be used as the 2 cups of water needed for blending.
