Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 2/3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. miniature marshmallows (2 c.)
- 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate pieces (1/2 c.)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Combine margarine, milk, sugar and salt in a heavy pan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, cook around 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly (start timing when mixture starts to bubble around edges of pan).
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in marshmallows, chocolate pieces, vanilla and nuts.
- Stir vigorously for one minute until marshmallows melt and blend.
- Pour into 8 inch square buttered pan and cool then cut in squares.
