Ingredients
- 5 lb. hamburg
- 5 tsp. Morton Quick salt
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 2 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. hickory smoked salt
- 3 tsp. red pepper
Method
- Mix ingredients well.
- Cover and refrigerate.
- Knead daily for the next 3 days.
- On the fourth day, shape into 5 small loaves. Place on a cookie sheet; bake for 10 hours at 200°.
- Turn after 5 hours.
- Wrap and refrigerate or freeze.
