Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 can consomme soup
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large can mushrooms
Method
- Cut steak into bite size pieces; place in bowl.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Place in refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Brown flour with butter; gradually add beef consomme soup.
- Add mustard, sour cream and catsup.
- Bring to a boil.
- Set sauce to one side.
