Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 cups Button Mushrooms, Washed
- 1 cup Beer
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme, Chopped
- Sea Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste
Method
- Melt the the butter in a skillet.
- Add the washed mushrooms to the skillet and toss them around to coat. Pour in the beer, and bring to a simmer on medium-low heat. Add the fresh herbs, sea salt and ground black pepper.
- Poach the mushrooms for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- These are flavourful enough to serve as a side on their own, but you can add them to anything!
