Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cups Button Mushrooms, Washed
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme, Chopped
  • Sea Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste

Method

  • Melt the the butter in a skillet.
  • Add the washed mushrooms to the skillet and toss them around to coat. Pour in the beer, and bring to a simmer on medium-low heat. Add the fresh herbs, sea salt and ground black pepper.
  • Poach the mushrooms for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • These are flavourful enough to serve as a side on their own, but you can add them to anything!
