Ingredients
- 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (optional)
Method
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Beat in egg, peanut butter, salt and soda.
- Blend in flour.
- Add vanilla.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Flatten with a fork.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350° or until slightly brown on edges.
- Makes 60 cookies.
