Ingredients
- 8 yeast rolls
- 2 c. milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 can crushed pineapple or 1 c. raisins
Method
- Tear rolls into small pieces and soak in milk for approximately 30 minutes.
- Beat eggs and fold into rolls and milk. Melt butter in a 9 x 12-inch glass baking dish.
- Pour in bread mixture.
- Add sugar, nutmeg and vanilla.
- Mix in pineapple or raisins.
- Bake at 300° for 30 minutes or until firm.
- Serve warm or cold.
- Serves 12.
