Ingredients
- 8 slices bread
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 to 8 eggs
- 2 c. milk
Method
- Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Cover bottom with 8 slices torn bread.
- Cook and drain loose sausage.
- Sprinkle sausage over bread.
- Sprinkle on shredded cheese next.
- Whip eggs with 2 cups milk.
- Pour over top; it will sink into bread.
- Cover and let stand overnight.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
