Ingredients
- 3 c broccoli flowerets
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c milk
- 1 c shredded cheese
Method
- Cook broccoli in boiling water until bright green but not limp. Drain and set aside. Melt butter in saucepan over medium-low heat. Blend flour and salt. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles, using a wooden spoon. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheese, until melted. Put broccoli in serving dish
- pour cheese sauce over top. Serves 4-6.
