Ingredients
- 2 c. white flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- warm water
Method
- Mix the above ingredients.
- Add warm water to form a dough. Knead until dough is soft and not sticky.
- Cover and let stand 1 hour.
- Shape into balls with hand; pat flat to 1/4-inch thickness. Put 1/2-inch shortening in heavy skillet.
- Brown on both sides and drain on paper towels.
