Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 9 to 10 c. popped corn

Method

  • Heat brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt to simmering over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  • Simmer 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Place popped corn in large bowl and pour hot mixture over top.
  • Toss with spoon to coat.
  • Place on large cookie sheet in 300° oven for 15 minutes.
  • Cool 10 minutes.
  • Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour to harden.
  • Be sure to grease cookie sheet well.
