Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1/2 c. shredded processed American cheese
Method
- Combine peas, carrots, soup, water and milk in saucepan; bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer 3 minutes.
- Spoon half of it into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- Spoon rice over vegetables; mix. Layer chicken over rice.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Top with rest of vegetable mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
