Ingredients
- 4 or 5 buttered bread slices
- 3 c. raw grated potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. shredded sharp cheese
Method
- Line casserole with 4 or 5 buttered slices of bread, crusts trimmed.
- Mix in bowl the potatoes, coarsely grated.
- Add eggs, cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
- Wet 2 slices of bread with water.
- Squeeze dry.
- Put all in casserole.
- Sprinkle top with cheese.
- Bake, covered, 1 hour at 350°.
