Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1-1/2 stick Butter, Melted
  • 6 cups Pitted Cherries, Thawed And Drained If Frozen
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

Method

  • In a medium bowl mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly.
  • In another bowl mix the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and lemon juice and mix well.
  • Pour cherry mixture into a buttered 2-quart casserole dish. Top with the oat mixture.
  • Bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes.
