Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) cherry flavored Jell-O
- 1 (16 oz.) can pitted black Bing cherries, drained and juice reserved
- 1 pt. sour cream
Method
- Place Jell-O powder in a large bowl. Pour 1 cup reserved cherry juice into bowl. Add 1 cup boiling water; whisk thoroughly until Jell-O is dissolved. Chill until gelatin begins to set, about 15 minutes. Remove from refrigerator and add sour cream. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add cherries. Pour into a 3-quart mold. Refrigerate until firm.
