Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (larger can)
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 28 oz. flaked coconut
  • 1 lb. finely chopped walnuts
  • 3 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 block paraffin
  • add a little almond extract (optional)

Method

  • Mix first 5 ingredients.
  • Roll into small balls (about 150). Place on a cookie sheet and chill.
  • Melt chocolate chips and paraffin over double boiler.
  • Dip balls into chocolate, using toothpicks.
  • Place on wax paper to harden.
  • Refrigerate or freeze.
  • Easier if you
