Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
- 16 oz. chocolate bar
Method
- Melt butter.
- Add sugar, corn syrup and water.
- Cook and stir until it reaches 300°.
- Quickly stir in 1 cup of nuts.
- Take off stove and pour onto cookie sheet.
- Let cool 10 to 15 minutes.
- Melt chocolate and spread on toffee.
- Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts. Cool and break into pieces.
