Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 Pet Ritz cracker pie crust shell
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. whipped topping

Method

  • Beat butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in sugar gradually until fluffy.
  • Blend in chocolate and vanilla extract.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition. Spread filling in pie shell.
  • Chill 2 hours or until firm.
  • Spread whipped topping over chilled filling.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over pie.
  • Serve chilled.
