Ingredients

  • 1 medium box corn flakes
  • 1 large bag mini-marshmallows
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 1/4 stick margarine (reserved)
  • green food coloring
  • 1 pkg. red hot candies

Method

  • Melt margarine in large
  • double boiler.
  • Stir in marshmallows until melted.
  • Add enough green food coloring to make mixture bright green.
  • Stir in coarsely crushed corn flakes.
  • Mix until coated with marshmallow mixture.
  • Let cool until warm but not too hot for children to handle.
  • With greased hands on waxed paper surface, shape into wreaths.
  • Push in red hot candies for color.
