Ingredients

  • 3 c. potatoes, chopped
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 c. carrots
  • 1/4 c. onion
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. cubed ham
  • 8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed

Method

  • Combine potatoes, water, celery, carrots, onions, parsley flakes and bouillon cube and pepper.
  • Simmer for about 30 minutes. Gradually add the milk that has been mixed with the flour.
  • Add to the vegetables and simmer until thickened.
  • Add the ham and cheese. Stir until melted.
  • Serves 4.
