Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (8 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 3 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. (6 squares) BAKER'S White Chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups toasted PLANTERS Walnuts, chopped

Method

  • Heat oven to 325F.
  • Microwave semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolates and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time.
  • Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth; let cool to room temperature.
  • Beat eggs and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed 5 minutes.
  • Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  • Stir in flour, baking powder and salt until well blended.
  • Stir in white chocolate chunks and walnuts.
  • Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 10 minutes or until slightly cracked but moist.
  • Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets.
  • Cool completely on wire rack.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
