Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. eye roast
- 6 carrots
- 6 potatoes
- 1/2 box Annie's dumplings
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Gravy Master
Method
- At 7 a.m., put beef, carrots and potatoes with salt, pepper and Gravy Master into 6-quart crock-pot and cover with water. Cook on high all day.
- At 4:00 p.m., remove finished beef, potatoes and carrots.
- Pour liquid through strainer into 6-quart saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Add dumplings; return to boil.
- Reduce heat to simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring gently often.
