Ingredients
- 1 1/3 lb. beef
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans mild enchilada sauce
- 12 corn or flour tortillas (soft)
- 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Brown meat with oregano, salt and garlic in a separate saucepan.
- Combine tomato sauce and enchilada sauce.
- Dip tortillas in heated sauce.
- Use 3 tortillas for bottom layer in greased 9 x 12-inch dish.
- Put layer of meat, cheese and sauce, beginning with tortillas and ending with cheese and sauce.
- Bake at 325° for 40 minutes.
