Ingredients
- 1 can cherries (unsweetened)
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 6 bananas, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. red food coloring
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. nuts
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Drain juice from cherries and pineapple.
- Add enough water to juice to make 2 cups.
- In large pan, pour juice, salt, food coloring, cherries and pineapple; bring to a boil.
- Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
- Add to fruit little at a time, cooking until thick.
- Add vanilla and cool.
