Ingredients
- 3 lbs peeled and cubed Idaho potatoes
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 c half and half milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
Method
- Cook potatoes in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, drain. Meanwhile cook garlic cloves in butter in a skillet over medium-low heat for 3 minutes.
- Do no allow garlic to brown. Return potatoes to pot, add the garlic, half and half, salt, and pepper. Mash. Make 8 servings.
