- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 to 2 c. pecans
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. cherry preserves
- 2/3 c. apricot preserves
- 2/3 c. pineapple preserves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Mix
- dry
- ingredients.
- Mix
- butter and eggs.
- Mix soda with buttermilk.
- Mix
- all together.
- Add preserves.
- Fold in pecans. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
- Bake at 325° for
- 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Makes a large cake.
