Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. butter flavor
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. German's sweet chocolate
Method
- Cream sugar and shortening.
- Add eggs, vanilla, butter flavor and buttermilk.
- Sift together dry ingredients and add to other. Mix well.
- Add chocolate that has been softened in double boiler or microwave.
- Blend well.
- Bake in well-greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
- Remove from pan while still hot.
- Cover in tight container until cold.
