Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Citrus
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt

Method

  • * In a mixing bowl, add an whole egg, the juice of half a citrus, the Dijon mustard and the salt.
  • * With an immersion blender mix those ingredients together.
  • * While mixing, slowly integrate the oil to create an emulsion.
  • * Homemade mayonnaise can easily be kept one week in the refrigerator.
