Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 medium garlic clove, chopped extra fine
- 1/4 c. Romano cheese
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 6 large eggs
- handful celery leaves, chopped
- 1/2 c. oil
Method
- Moisten bread crumbs with water.
- Put everything else, except oil, in bowl and mix loosely.
- Shape into golf balls and fry a few at a time in the oil, until they are pretty brown.
- Save drippings for Italian sauce.
