Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato juice
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • In medium skillet, cook and stir meat, macaroni, onion and green pepper.
  • Cook until meat is browned.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes.
  • Uncover and simmer until sauce is desired consistency.
  • Makes 4 servings.
