- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato juice
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- In medium skillet, cook and stir meat, macaroni, onion and green pepper.
- Cook until meat is browned.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes.
- Uncover and simmer until sauce is desired consistency.
- Makes 4 servings.
