Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • dash of salt or Lawry's
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni

Method

  • In medium skillet, brown ground beef; drain fat.
  • Add chopped onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper to ground beef and cook until brown.
  • Add tomato paste and 1 can of water measured from tomato paste can to make sauce, then simmer as you cook macaroni in 2 1/2 cups water in saucepan for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Drain macaroni; combine with meat sauce.
