Ingredients
- 1 qt. milk
- 1/2 c. rice (not instant)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins
Method
- Warm milk and add rice.
- Simmer, covered, until rice is cooked.
- Beat eggs and sugar until consistency of syrup.
- Mix 3 or 4 tablespoons of hot rice mixture into egg mixture and add to pot. Cook about 1 or 2 minutes.
- Add vanilla and raisins.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, if desired.
