Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.
- Add 1/2 cup boiling water. Cook until thickened on low flame, stirring constantly.
- Set aside to cool.
- Beat egg whites for meringue.
- Add sugar, little at a time.
- Add cornstarch mixture.
- Bake at 325° or 350° for about 15 minutes (until a little brown).
