Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cornmeal (yellow)
- 2 eggs or 4 whites
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oil
Method
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and yellow cornmeal.
- Add eggs or whites, milk and oil.
- Beat with mixer or by hand just until smooth.
- Pour into 9 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan and bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
