Ingredients
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 6 c. 3-minute oats
- 1 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Method
- Cream butter; add sugar and eggs and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Add flour, salt and soda.
- Add oats and nuts.
- Mix well.
- Dip with ice cream dipper (small one) or drop from spoon or may be rolled in waxed paper and put in refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours or overnight, then sliced.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a 350°
- oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
