Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 envelope onion dip mix
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. cold water
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in dip mix.
- Cut in butter until mixture forms fine crumbs. Sprinkle cold water over top, a tablespoon at a time, mixing lightly until pastry holds together.
- Roll out on a lightly floured cloth to a rectangle.
- Cut in half lengthwise.
- Lift and twist strips.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from cookie sheets.
