Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 envelope onion dip mix
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 Tbsp. cold water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425°.
  • Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in dip mix.
  • Cut in butter until mixture forms fine crumbs. Sprinkle cold water over top, a tablespoon at a time, mixing lightly until pastry holds together.
  • Roll out on a lightly floured cloth to a rectangle.
  • Cut in half lengthwise.
  • Lift and twist strips.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Remove from cookie sheets.
