Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Buttermilk
- 1 Egg
- 4 tsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp BrownBrown sugar
- 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp Double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Method
- In medium mixing bowl combine Buttermilk, egg, oil, and sugar.
- And beat until thoroughly combined; add remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet or a griddle with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat; using half of the batter, drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into skillet (or onto griddle), making 4 pancaks.
- Cook until bottom is browned and bubbles apear on surface, about 3 minutes
- using pancake turner, turn pancakes over and cook until otherside is browned.
- Remvoe to serving plate and keep warm.
- Using rmaining batter, repeat procedure, spraying pan with cooking spray and making 4 more pancakes.
