Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 loaf Pepperidge Farm Party Rye Bread
  • 1-1/2 lb. boiled ham, sliced thin
  • 1 lb. Swiss cheese
  • Various condiments to place on table

Method

  • Separate each slice of rye bread.
  • Place a fair amount of ham on top to cover fully.
  • Place sliced swiss cheese on top of ham.
  • Cut ham into squares approximately the size of bread slices, making sure to overlap at least 2 slices so it falls over edge of bread.
  • Add another slice of ham square in middle.
  • Cut Swiss cheese a little larger than bread and place square on middle.
  • Place on baking sheet(s) in 325F oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted, but not browned.
