Ingredients
- 6 oz. lemon jello
- 1 pkg. plain gelatin, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 jar peach pickle
- 1 (No. 2) can sliced pineapple
- 2 apples
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Pour the 2 cups boiling water over lemon jello.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Add to hot jello one package of plain gelatin, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water.
- Drain peaches and pineapple. Measure juice and add enough water to make 4 cups.
- Add the juice to jello.
- Cut the peaches and pineapple into pieces.
- Add to jello.
- Add pecans.
- Peel and shred the apples
- on large side of grater.
- Add to jello.
- Congeal.
- Serves 16.
