Ingredients

  • 6 oz. lemon jello
  • 1 pkg. plain gelatin, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 jar peach pickle
  • 1 (No. 2) can sliced pineapple
  • 2 apples
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Pour the 2 cups boiling water over lemon jello.
  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Add to hot jello one package of plain gelatin, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water.
  • Drain peaches and pineapple. Measure juice and add enough water to make 4 cups.
  • Add the juice to jello.
  • Cut the peaches and pineapple into pieces.
  • Add to jello.
  • Add pecans.
  • Peel and shred the apples
  • on large side of grater.
  • Add to jello.
  • Congeal.
  • Serves 16.
