Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Splenda
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cups Salted Butter, Melted
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1- 1/2 teaspoon Liquid Sweetener
  • 1 ounces, weight Peanuts, Chopped

Method

  • 1.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • 2.
  • Mix all of the bars ingredients together and press into a loaf pan.
  • Dampen fingers with water to move and even out the dough.
  • 3.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly browned around the edges.
  • 4.
  • Let cool, then cut into 6 bars.
  • 5.
  • Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds (heating for additional 30 second increments if needed) and then mix in the cocoa until smooth.
  • Stir in liquid sweetener.
  • Taste and add more sweetener if needed.
  • Spread on top of the peanut butter bars.
  • 6.
  • Top bars with chopped peanuts and press to adhere.
  • 7.
  • Freeze bars until firm and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
