Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • parsley, chopped

Method

  • Clean mushrooms; remove and chop stems.
  • Place caps in buttered shallow baking dish.
  • Melt butter; saute stems in garlic and butter.
  • Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
  • Stuff cups. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve warm.
  • Makes approximately 2 dozen.
  • Can be prepared 1 day ahead and refrigerated.
