Ingredients

  • 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 13 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup fresh pumpkin
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts
  • powdered sugar
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine all dry ingredients (except walnuts and powdered sugar).
  • Mix well.
  • In another bowl, combine pumpkin, water, eggs, vanilla and oil.
  • Mix well.
  • Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture and beat thoroughly.
  • Stir in nuts and pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 75-80 minutes.
  • Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
