- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 cups Oats
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cups Canned Pumpkin
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease an 8-inch square pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, oats, brown sugar and chocolate chips. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, pumpkin, vanilla, sugar and honey. Add the pumpkin mixture to the flour mixture. Stir until batter is just mixed.
- Spoon batter into the prepared pan and use a spatula or your fingers to spread the batter evenly in the pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before cutting.
