Ingredients
- 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Mix the first 5 ingredients until smooth.
- Add milk and mix. Pour into ungreased 9 x 12-inch pan.
- Sprinkle on dry cake mix over mixture.
- Drizzle melted margarine on top.
- Cover with pecans.
- Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until set.
- Serve with whipping cream or Cool Whip.
- Serves a lot.
