Ingredients

  • 2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp. flour

Method

  • Cover raisins an inch or so over the top with water.
  • Cook until good and plump over low heat.
  • Mix together sugar, salt, cinnamon and flour. Add enough water to make it like a thickening for gravy.
  • Stir into raisins and continue cooking over low heat until thick.
  • Pour into a 9-inch pie crust and make a lattice top. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar and bake at 350° until golden.
