- 1 c. salad dressing
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 stick margarine
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
Method
- Mix sugar and salad dressing in large bowl.
- Dissolve soda in water.
- Stir salt into flour and add to sugar mixture, a little at a time, alternating with water mixture.
- Mix well.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and egg.
- Mix well.
- Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 375° until cake tests done.
