Ingredients
- 1 can salmon (15 to 16 oz.)
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco
Method
- Drain salmon, saving 2 tablespoons of liquid.
- Mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky.
- Add baking powder to salmon liquid, then stir into salmon mixture.
- Heat Crisco in pan.
- Form salmon mixture into patties.
- Fry in heated Crisco until golden brown.
